DIY: Orange Soaps

🍊 you glad I didn’t say 🍌?

I have been on a HUGE do it yourself kick lately and soaps has been one of my favorite things to try out. I had a bunch of essential oils taking up space in my drawer, because my dog decided to chew up the cord to my essential oil defuser (She’s lucky she’s cute) πŸ™ƒ One of the scents I thought would make a great soap, was orange. While making it, all I could think of was the Orange Goop that my dad used to spread all over his hands to get the dirt and grime off (I grew up on a farm). To make this soap alls you need is shea soap base, orange essential oil, soap molds, and fresh orange peels! The essential oil, soap mold, and base can be found at Hobby Lobby!

First Step: Melt the soap base in the microwave using 30 second increments, until fully melted (you’ll have to act fast because it will harden.

Second Step: Add essential oil (start with a few drops and continue to add until it is the strength you want)

Third Step: Put a few orange peels on bottom of soap mold and then add soap, let harden, and then take soaps out of soap molds and you have your own homemade orange soaps!
